Super Air Jet officially launched its Kualanamu–Bandung service on 18 September 2026, operating four times a week and providing passengers with an onward connection to Bali via Bandung.
## Kualanamu and Bandung Are Now Better Connected Air connectivity from North Sumatra continues to expand as Super Air Jet officially launched its Kualanamu–Bandung service on 18 September 2026, providing more travel options for passengers to and from North Sumatra. Flights from Kualanamu International Airport (KNO) to Bandung via Husein Sastranegara Airport (BDO) operate four times a week, every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. The connectivity extends beyond Bandung. Passengers departing from Kualanamu also have the option to continue their journey to Bali (Denpasar) via Bandung. Likewise, passengers travelling from Bali can connect through Bandung before continuing to Kualanamu. During the inaugural service, 51 passengers travelled from Kualanamu to Bandung, while 53 passengers continued on the Bandung–Bali sector. The inaugural flight ceremony was held at Gate 7 of the Domestic Departure Lounge at Kualanamu International Airport on 18 September 2026. The event included a ribbon and cake-cutting ceremony, flower garlands for passengers, and a group prayer. The launch of this route further strengthens Kualanamu International Airport's connectivity and provides more travel options for passengers from North Sumatra travelling to Bandung and Bali.
