3 steps · From landing to exiting the terminal
Landing & Disembark
After landing, remain seated and wait until the aircraft has come to a complete stop and the seatbelt sign is turned off. Follow crew instructions before standing. Retrieve your cabin baggage from the overhead compartment carefully, and ensure nothing is left in your seat or seat pocket. Follow the passenger flow into the terminal via the jetbridge or apron bus.
Baggage Claim
Upon arriving at the baggage area, check the monitor screens for the carousel number matching your flight number. Wait near the carousel and collect your luggage when it appears. Make sure you pick up your own baggage by checking the baggage tag. If your baggage does not appear within 30 minutes or arrives damaged, report immediately to the Lost & Found counter in the arrivals area.
If baggage doesn't appear within 30 minutes, report to the Lost & Found counter.
Transport & Exit Terminal
After collecting your baggage, follow the signs to the terminal exit on level 1. Various transport options are available in the arrivals area: Kualanamu Airport Train to Medan Station (±30 minutes), Damri buses to various destinations, metered official taxis, and private shuttle services. Use only official transport operating inside the airport for your safety and comfort.
